About America's Newspapers
America's Newspapers exists to serve and support local newspapers across the United States, with a special dedication to family-owned and independent operations. We represent nearly 1,700 members, providing them with the advocacy, resources, and community they need to thrive.
We exist to support local newspapers — especially family owners.
America's Newspapers is built around a simple commitment: helping local newspapers succeed. We provide the advocacy, resources, training, and community that publishers need to thrive in their markets and serve their communities effectively.
Family-owned newspapers are at the heart of everything we do. We understand that family ownership often means deeper community roots, longer-term thinking, and a commitment to local journalism that goes beyond quarterly returns. That's why we've created specialized programs, dedicated events, and targeted support specifically for family-owned operations.
